Pumpkin Painting

This weekend we got to spend some wonderful time with international friends! Neil (my hubs) and I feel God has called us to international students. We love hanging out with them and showing them the American Culture. So we invited a bunch of internationals and Americans over to do a twist on the normal pumpkin carving... Pumpkin painting! Its a safe alternative to carving (don't have to worry about anyone cutting themselves), really fun, and funny. The pumpkins came out really good and its fun to see everyone's creative ideas. This bottom picture cracked me up! My friend Crystal was caught a little off guard.

Overall, we had a great time and our international friends got to learn a little about our American tradition of Halloween. Stay tuned for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can't wait!! Some are coming over for Thanksgiving and going to help us decorate the Christmas tree (they usually don't do this in Taiwan). Then for Christmas, 3 Taiwanese students are going to Neil and my family's house in Chicago! Fun road trip!
