The Power of Prayer... Naps

Beautiful flowers Neil got for me because I had a rough day! How sweet!

Being a grad student can be really stressful! There are projects, papers, the dreaded thesis, work, tests, presentations, and dead line after deadline. Life can get really crazy! The one nice thing is that I have is a very flexible schedule. Classes for me are mostly one day a week. This allows me to do one of the best things! Prayer Naps!

It all started 6 months or so ago when I realized there is something wrong with me. I am always really hungry. If I don't eat I get really nauseous and when I do eat I feel like I am going to pass out. So almost everyday after lunch I take an hour prayer nap! This is where I get to relax and spend quality time with God praying! With such a busy schedule I find days were I forget to read my bible, but usually taking my prayer nap I can always count on! Waking up from my prayer nap I feel refreshed and more productive like I can do anything! God is so inspiring, empowering,  and a wonderful protector. After these naps I feel like he really protects the rest of my day from being as crazy as my mornings!

A couple weeks ago I was receiving prayer and I felt like God was telling me that I should be grateful for my eating problems, because they help me connect, trust, and spend more quality time with Him! So I hope you can take a step back, find time to relax, and enjoy a prayer nap with God too!
