New Years Giveaway and Our Vacation

Happy New Year! I feel like 2012 is going to be a good one! To kick it off I will be doing a giveaway! I'll get to that a little later. But first my hubs and I have been on a road trip for the last 12 days. We first went to Chicago to visit family for Christmas, then to Richmond Virginia to visit Neil's brothers family. It was awesome, my sister-in-law is so crafty, a great cook, and wonderful mother. I learned so much from her about patience and grace that hopefully I will have learned by the time Neil and I have kids. We had fun going antique shopping, checking out downtown Richmond, and going to a really cool historic mansion and farm. I can't wait to go visit them again! Next stop Athens Ohio. The church we attend is a church planting church and had planted one in Athens this summer so we went to go visit a bunch of friends who had went. It was really nice to catch up and experience what it is like to go on a church plant. Man its hard all the work they have to do to get ready for service! I'm so grateful for all the work they do to follow after God. The last stop on our trip was to visit Louisville Kentucky were my best friend from grade school moved after college. It was a short stop, we only had dinner, but it was so fun to catch up and hopefully we get to do it again soon. We finally got home last night at almost 11 and I'm pretty sure we will not do a road trip with that much driving for awhile.
