I hate cleaning the bathroom and I don't want to waste money on harmful chemical cleaners. So I came up with an easy solution that doesn't hurt the environment and its pretty simple to do.
Tub/Sink Scrub:
1/4-1/2 cup baking soda
a bunch of dishwashing liquid soap (enough to make a thick paste, around a couple TBS)
Directions: First spray with All Purpose Cleaner on the tub, sink, tile, and wherever else your little heart desires. Then take some of the scrub with a washcloth or sponge and start scrubbing away. You can use it on the tile too, or just the tub/sink (I have a shower tub combo). Then rinse. I take a cup and fill it with water and just "throw" it against the tile or tub. For the sink just run the water and rinse off the sides. It works fantastic!
This is a quick and easy way to clean the bathroom! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Thank you! I knew about baking soda, but forgot, this is very simple recipe, and my son is so sensitive for chemicals.... Thank you!

DeleteWill have to try it, ours certainly needs to be scrubbed.
ReplyDeletehope you like it! Mine does too :)
DeleteThanks for the recipe. I've been using baking soda and vinegar, and it's good, but I'm not a huge fan of the smell. I'll try this and see how it works.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand Im not a fan either! Hope it works great for you!

ReplyDeleteHope you love it! Thanks for coming by Amy!
DeleteIf you need a little more scrubbing power you can add some table salt. Just make sure it's not scratching the finish on whatever you are cleaning.
ReplyDeleteThats a good idea I never thought of that! Thanks for sharing I will have to try it!
