Fabric Flower Pin/Hair Pin Tutorial

One of my summer goals is to craft a lot more! So to kick off summer I did this really easy and fun craft! All you need is some fabric, scissors, felt, pencil or pen, hot glue, and some pin backs or hair clips.

1. Get your fabric and if you are really good at cutting circles freehand do so. I'm not so I used a small circle template which happened to be an upside down antique milk jug. Cut out at least 5-7 circles per flower

2. Cut your felt circle smaller than the rest of your fabric circles.

3. Make flower petals by folding your circles in half adding a dot of hot glue and folding in half again making quarters.

4. Add medium size dot of hot clue to the middle of the felt circle and start layering your fabric petals adding more glue and petals as needed.

5. Finish by adding the pin back or hair pin onto the back of felt using hot glue or you can sew it on.

Pretty simple, fun, and really adorable! I think I'm going to make a bunch of different variations of these! O how I love summer time!
