Peanut Butter & Jelly Overnight Oats

Growing up I was a really weird kid who hated peanut butter and jelly. What kid hates pb & j seriously? As I got older I learned that grape jelly is not the only jelly and strawberry is wonderful. The hubs and I eat pb & js quite often. Well all this to say I thought it would be fun to make a pb & j over night oats and it was sweet, delicious, and healthy!

PB & J Overnight Oats

1 ripe banana smashed
1/3 cup old fashion oats
! tbs chia seeds
1 cup milk (I use almond)
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 tbs of peanut butter (or more for the pb-aholics :))
1 tbs strawberry jelly (or jelly of choice)

Directions:
In a bowl or mason jar smash a banana with a fork until finely smushed. Add oats chia seeds, milk, and vanilla. Mix well. Cover and put in fridge overnight. In the morning add peanut butter and jelly, mix well, and enjoy. Easiest way to enjoy a healthy breakfast!

Happy Tuesday!

  3. I hated PB when I was a kid so I didn't have a PB&J until I was 21. Then I couldn't get enough. Still don't care for grape jelly. Can't wait to try this.
