Surprise a New Puppy!

Hey ya'll thanks for being so patient with me these last 2 months! Well I am back! I turned in my semi final of my thesis on Monday (now waiting for the corrections) and finished my last project as of today. The rest should be pretty easy except my defense of course. Well I have wonderful news for everyone. The hubs surprised me with a new puppy! Isn't she cute? Her name is Olive we rescued her and have really no idea what breed she is which is kind of fun! We get to see what she turns into! My friend Jordan over at Lily White Designs made this super cute bed with her name on it! Matches my house and everything! I love her and is probably one of the coolest people I know!

Have you ever rescued a doggy? What was it like for you?

    1. Thank you! She is so sweet and very much the opposite of the other doggy! She likes to be a good girl and not cause trouble!

  3. That dog is so sweet. I really want a dod, and so does my mom, but my dad doesn't want to get one. I think he is beginning to sway. The dog bed is sweet, too. Nice name!

  4. You ask if we have ever rescued a dog. Meet the queen of dog rescue. I have 4 dogs that I have rescued. Once I actually risked my own life to save a dog. She is the most sweet dog I have ever met and I am so happy she is in our family.
I have several sofa coushions. I got them from a sofa left by a dumpster. I brought them home, washed them, and used them as a pattern to make a cover for the coushion. Now the 'girls' have a nice soft bed of their own. I can take the cover off and wash as needed.
I am sure your dog will be a wonderful addition to your family. I know ours are a big blessing to us.

    1. Thats a great idea Roxie! So frugal and crafty! Good job rescuing so many hopefully we will rescue more some day. Two dogs is enough for me right now! I feel like rescues are way more appreciative and loving than bred dogs. It could just be a difference in breeds and I only have two examples haha. Thanks for sharing!
