Homemade Natural Soft Scrub
I love homemade products. They are cheap, better for the environment, and work just as well as the commercial products! When I saw this recipe from Live Renewed for homemade soft scrub I had to try it! Guess what? This stuff is amazing I was so surprised at how well it cleans! The hubs even walked by and said "wow thats shiny."
Ingredients:
3/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup liquid castile soap (any will do I had tea tree on hand)
1 Tablespoon water
10 to 15 drops of tea tree oil (I used less since I used tea tree soap)
Directions: Mix first 3 ingredients together, then mix in tea tree oil. Transfer into a squeezable container and clean away!
You can use this to clean sinks, tubs, toilets, and countertops and it works awesome! Happy Cleaning!

Is the tea tree oil just used for the anti-bacterial element? Is there something else I could use in its place?
ReplyDeleteyep its just used for its anti everything element. I personally don't like the smell of tea tree oil. You can use a variety of citrus oils, rosemary, lavender, or thyme. Hope this helps!
