The Beauty of Fall


O how I love fall! I love all the wonderful colors, smells, and of course all the wonderful food. This past Sunday we got to enjoy great company and food at our friends house with many international students. Right after we enjoyed the nice weather at Garden of the gods with or great friends from Taiwan!

We had so much fun hiking and climbing the rocks. Its such a beautiful place and when we stood on the rocks and looked out I couldn't help but be in aw of how amazing God is and that he created all of that amazing scenery!
Can you  believe this place is only an hour from Carbondale! I love Southern Illinois it is so pretty!
I can't wait for Saturday. We are having a pumpkin carving party with lots of friends from near and far. It is going to be so much fun! Well thats all for now. Hope ya'll get to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery of Southern Illinois.

    This is in Hardin County...where I grew up! You probably passed the store my parents use to own. (before you turn on Karbers Ridge blacktop). Use to be called Shaffer's Grocery. Now called Harbison's Country Market.
